Baylor, College Park Drive. Mrs. Beckham had been in declining health for several years and seriously ill for a month. She was born in York County, Oct. 19, 1865, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Crafford Adams. Mrs. Beckham had been a resident of Staunton since 1914 and was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Henry B. Baylor of Staunton, and Mrs. Raynor Gimbal of Piedmont, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Foster of Baltimore, and Mrs. Richard L. Sturgis of Rockhill, S.C.; and a brother, Samuel H. Adams of Newport News. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Baylor, College Park Drive, conducted by the Rev. J. Lewis Gibbs, D.D., rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Interment will be Tuesday afternoon at one-thirty in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. Pallbearers were: Maj. F. M. Sizer, Benjamin G. Cleveland, Page G. Wilson, Frank S. Black, J. E. Runnels Jr., General E. Walton Opie, Harold F. Salchow, Robert E. Holsinger, Thomas W. Dixon, Charles L. Bowman and Dr. John H. Guss.
