Mrs. Catherine Becotes, mother of Mrs. George W. Millner, died Friday, Sept. 4 
after an illness of six months. The funeral was held at the Queen Street Baptist 
Church, Sunday, Sept. 6. Rev. P. P. Eaton officiated. The body was laid to rest in 
Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Becotes is survived by five daughters, one son, three 
brothers, a sister, a husband, and a host of relatives and friends.
