Virginian Pilot December 13, 1957

BECRAFT, FRANCIS ELMER "PREACHER" - At a local hospital, Wednesday night, 
December 11, 1957, at 11:45 o'clock, FRANCIS ELMER "PREACHER" BECRAFT, son of 
Mrs. Dorothy Mallon Becraft and the late Elmer C. Becraft, in the 37th year of 
his age. The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Christ 
the King Catholic Church for funeral services THIS (Friday) MORNING, December 
13, 1957, at 11 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Burial 
will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Francis E. Becraft, 36, of Norfolk died in a hospital Wednesday night of burns 
sustained when he tried to put out a fire caused by an electrical heater.
