Norfolk - Nemiah Becton, 64, of Pulaski St. died Thursday in Municipal Hospital 
after a long illness.

A native of Kinston, NC, he was a son of A. D. and Mrs. Lissie Becton. He lived 
in Norfolk 40 years.

Surviving are a brother, Henry Becton of Bridgeport, CT,and two sisters, Mrs. 
Laura Jenkins of Lake Grange, NC, and Mrs. Reatha Newbern of Kingston, NC.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held 
Monday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. F. P. Wise of Mt. Lebanon Baptist church. Burial 
will be in Calvary Cemetery.
