Mr. Bedout was a member of the Royal Arcanum, Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of that church. Besides his widow he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W.E. Chesson of Atlanta, Ga.; Mrs. C.W. Campbell and Miss Katherine Bedout of Norfolk; one son, Roland E. Bedout, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. J.F. Reinhard and Miss Margaret Bedout, of Norfolk; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, pending arrangements. ***************************************************************************** Edward Thomas Bedout - The body of Mr. Bedout, who died Tuesday morning at the residence, 1240 Westover Avenue, was taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, for services this morning at 10 o'clock. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The Rev. E. P. Kilgalen, pastor, officiated. The Rev. Paul V. Heller and the Rev. Francis Klemmer were present in the sanctuary. During the service, Miss Mildred Meath sang, "Jesus, Jesus, Come to Me", with J. Harvey Stevens as organist. The casket was covered with a pall of calla-lilies and ferns. The pallbearers were W. A. Worsham, B. A. Hayes, Dr. H. W. Phillips, R. L. Orr, Joseph Kaufman, T. H. Sanderlin, W. B. Clark and Charles Young.
