The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark May 11, 1916
The funeral of Edward L. Bedout took place yesterday at 4 p.m. at Sacred Heart 
Catholic church, conducted by Rev. Leo J. Ryan and Rev. John J. Doherty, and 
was largely attended. There were many floral tributes. Burial was in Elmwood. 
The pall-bearers were W.M. Hannan, T.F. Ferguson, S.C. Phillips, A.W. Skidmore, 
David Carpenter and John Godfrey. Miss Rosa Smith sang "Lead Kindly Light".
