BIRDIE BEEM, 90, of Plant City, died Wednesday. A native of Norfolk, Va., she was 
a resident of eastern Hillsborough County for 17 years. She was a retired manager 
for a nursing home. She is survived by two sons, Joseph of Plant City and Floyd II 
of Woodbridge, Va.; one daughter, Phyllis Stevens of Camden, N.C.; 15 
grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Haynes Funeral Home, Plant City.
