Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, February 19, 1994 
Cora Lena Jones Belch, 91, a resident of Camelot Hall Nursing Home, died Feb.
17, 1994, at the residence.

Mrs. Belch was born in Edenton, N.C., and was the widow of Archie Belch Sr. She
was a member of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Anne Sawicki and Louise Miller, both of
Norfolk, Doris Miles of Maple, N.C., Mary Elizabeth Van Vleek of Lowcap, Va.,
and Judy L. Osborne of Suffolk; five sons, Linwood T. Belch of Norfolk, Horace
E. Belch of Chesapeake, Raymond L. Belch of Norfolk, Archie Belch Jr. of
Wisconsin and Charles Ray Belch of Chesapeake; 50 grandchildren; 20
great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2p.m. Sunday in Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church
by Dr. Paul C. Lawson. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery . The family will
receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7
to 8:30 p.m. today.
