Bell, died yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Bell was a native of Pittsburgh, Pa. and a resident of Norfolk for the past five years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.P. McLaughlin, of Norfolk; and Mrs. W.T. Dunn, of Great Neck, Long Island, N.Y.; two sons, Murto Bell and J. Austin Bell, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and two brothers, Dr. Frank D. Murto and James P. Murto, of Pittsburgh, Pa. Mrs. Bell resided at 1517 Lovitt Avenue. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. The body was taken to H.D. Oliver's funeral apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements. ***************************************************************************** MRS. FLORINE MURTO BELL.—Funeral services for Mrs. Florine Murto Bell, widow of Dr. John D. Bell, whose death occurred Sunday, were held at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. E. A. Brosnan officiating. The Rev. R. B. Kealey was present in the sanctuary. At the conclusion of the mass Father Brosnan paid tribute to the Christian life of the deceased and spoke of the great comfort of the Catholic doctrine of death and burial service. Several selections were rendered during the service by the choir of St. Mary’s Female Academy, with Mrs. James Hughes, organist. There was a large attendance. The casket was covered with clusters of dahlias, chrysanthemums and ferns. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were J. A. Barlow, Jr., Hugh F. Fantone, Caroleen H. Fantone. James Wheeler, Lawrence Nunn and O. L. Warriner.
