Norfolk Journal and Guide, Aug 18,1978
Norfolk - Mrs. Louise G. Bell, of 2718 Mapleton Ave., the widow of R. S. 
Bell and a native of Norfolk, died August 13 in a hospital.


She was a retired teacher from the public schools of West Virginia and a 
member of First Baptist Church, Bute Street.


Survivors include four nieces, Miss Margaret L. Gordon of Norfolk and Mrs. 
Christine Williams, Mrs. Laura Imes, and Miss Calpernia Giddings, all of 
Newport News; and two nephews, Harvey Giddings and Vernon Giddings of 
Newport News.


A funeral was held August 16 in First Baptist Church, Bute Street, by the 
Rev. LaVert Taylor. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home had 
charge.
