BELL, HOLLEY MACKIE – At a local hospital, Sunday, September 17th, 1939, at 11:40 
o’clock a.m., HOLLEY MACKIE, husband of Mrs. Kate Capehart Bell and son of the 
late Capt. Demosthenes Bell, C.S.A., and Mrs. Celia Holley Bell, in the 59th year 
of his age. Services at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 
1501 Colonial avenue, THIS (Monday) AFTERNOON at 4 o’clock. Friends of the family 
are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
