WINDSOR, N.C. - Mrs. Kate Capehart Bell, 94, died Wednesday in Roanoke Chowan 
Hospital, Ahoskie.
A native of Bertie County, she was a daughter of Cadmus and Mrs. Mary Martin 
Capehart and the widow of Holley Mackie Bell.
She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles J. Sawyer Jr. of Windsor; two 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held today at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Episcopal Church 
by the Rev. Garland Teasley. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, at 1 
p.m. Byrd-Walker Funeral Home has charge.
