Virginian-Pilot September 18, 1911
Mrs. Roxanna Bell, wife of Thomas Bell, died at the residence of her son-in-law, 
George Pendleton, Phoebus, Va., at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The remains will arrive in 
Norfolk on the steamer Luray this morning and the funeral will be held from the 
apartments of Funeral Director H. C. Smith, 179 Bank street, at noon today.

Additional Comments:
There is a discrepancy between the date of death in the database (18th) and that 
calculated from the obituary (17th).
