NORFOLK - Mrs. Sarah L. Bell, 79, of 1210 Colonial Ave., John Knox Towers, Apt. 
307, the widow of Edward Gorman Bell, died Monday in her home.
She was a native of Engelhard, N.C., and was retired from Norfolk General 
Hospital School of Nursing as house mother of Pender Hall. She was a member of 
Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Antha Sickle of Alliance, Ohio; two step grand-
children; and a niece, Mrs. Esther B. Henry of Norfolk.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, where 
the family will be tonight from 7 to 9. A funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 
p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. C. Norman Bennett.
