He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 3429 E. Bonner Drive at the time of his death. He was an employe of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, M/Sgt. Vincent P. Bell Jr., Riverside, Calif.; five daughters, Sister Amelia of the Daughters of Charity, Lynchburg, Va.; Mrs. James Bramble, Mrs. Mary E. Stencil, Mrs. Robert G. Bishton, and Miss Margaret P. Bell of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Bell Jones of Norfolk; two brothers, Joseph B. Bell of Virginia Beach and Raymond A. Bell of Norfolk. Rosary services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Friday at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
