The Virginian Pilot Thursday March 3, 1960
Vincent Patrick Bell Sr., 65, husband of Mrs. Amelia Galvin Bell, and son of 
the late Dempsey C. and Mrs. Margaret Noonan Bell, died Wednesday.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 3429 E. Bonner 
Drive at the time of his death.  He was an employe of the Norfolk Naval 
Shipyard and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Holy 
Name Society.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, M/Sgt. Vincent P. Bell Jr., 
Riverside, Calif.; five daughters, Sister Amelia of the Daughters of 
Charity, Lynchburg, Va.; Mrs. James Bramble, Mrs. Mary E. Stencil, Mrs. 
Robert G. Bishton, and Miss Margaret P. Bell of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. 
Nancy Bell Jones of Norfolk; two brothers, Joseph B. Bell of Virginia Beach 
and Raymond A. Bell of Norfolk.
Rosary services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Friday 
at 7 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 
Saturday at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
