Bell, 319 Marlboro avenue, Chesterfield Heights, yesterday morning at 6 o'clock. He had been ill for five months. Mr. Bell was the son of the late Isaac T. and Mrs. Nancy Palmer Bell. He was a native of Camden County, N.C., but had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 50 years. He was a retired lumberman. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Mary Bell; two sons, Joseph H., of Norfolk and the Rev. C.C. Bell of Lynchburg; a daughter, Mrs. E.P. Ives, of Oceana, Princess Anne County; a sister, Mrs. Abner Duncan, of Norfolk and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence of Joseph H. Bell tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, the Rev. J.W. Gee, of McKendree Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
