Bell, who was injured at the saw mill of the Fosburg Lumber Company Saturday afternoon at 4:50 o'clock, died yesterday morning at 10:18 o'clock after suffering excruciating pain about forty-one hours. About two hours before his death, when the physicians found that his physical endurance had about ceased, his friends and relatives were admitted to his bedside to talk with and bid him good-bye as he passed into death, which he welcomed on account of his great agony. The funeral will be conducted from the residence of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph P. Bell corner Twenty-second and D Streets, South Norfolk, Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Bell was one of the most popular and highly respected young men of this section and his sad and untimely end cast quite a gloom over the community. BELL - At Protestnt Hospital, Norfolk Va., June 26th, 1905, at 10:18 a.m., HOWARD L. BELL, son of Mr and Mrs. Joseph P. Bell, aged 23 years. Funeral to take place from their residence corner 22d and D Streets, South Norfolk, WEDNESDAY, 28th at 5 p.m. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends and acquaintances invited to attend.
