 The funeral of Mr. Jesse Bell, whose sudden demise occurred at his residence, 
No. 712 Church street, Wednesday night, was held from Emanual Episcopal Chapel, 
corner of Calvert and Wide streets, at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, and was 
attended by the Board of School Trustees and Lafayette Lodge, No. 9, I.O.O.F., 
of which deceased was a member. The services were conducted by the rector, Rev. 
John H. Dickinson. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the 
pall-bearers: B.F. Hunting, John Hill, Edward Cooper, C.H. Holloway, S.J. 
Dobbs, Charles Kastel.
