Norfolk - Mrs. Lucy Jane Bell, 68, of 825 Park avenue, died in Richardson
Nursing Home.

A native of Princess Anne County, she was the widow of Eddie Bell and a daughter
of James and Mrs. Lucy Adams.

She was a member of Saint John AME Church, Davis Corner.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mabel Walston of Norfolk; a brother, James A.
Adams of Virginia Beach; and eight sisters, Miss Rosa Adams, Mrs. Eldora Manley,
Mrs. Marion Teel, Mrs. Vanessa Davis, and Mrs. Ruth Freeman of Norfolk, Mrs.
Louise Gregory of Portsmouth, Mrs. Pearl Hollie and Mrs. Geneva Forbes of
Virginia Beach.

Services were held in Saint John AME Church by the Rev. D. P. Felton. Burial was
in Calvary Cemetery with Mosley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
