The Virginian Pilot January 15, 1957


Norfolk-Miss Eva Frances Bell, 77, daughter of the late Jesse and Mrs. Ella 
Hall Bell, died at the residence, 301 W. 13th Street, yesterday at 5:35 a.m.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Leo Louis, of Elizabeth City, N.C.; Mrs. 
W.A. Taylor and Mrs. W.P. Smith, both of Norfolk; a brother, Howard R. Bell, of 
Norfolk, and several nieces and nephews.
Miss Bell was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and was a member of Christ and St. 
Luke’s Episcopal Church.
Until her retirement two years ago she was in the employ of the Sunlight 
Laundry for 38 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 2 p.m.
