Mrs. Nora Cecelia Bell, aged 42 years, wife of Claude L. Bell, died at Catawba, 
Va., yesterday morning at 7 o’clock, after a lingering illness. She was the 
daughter of the late Mrs. Cecelia and Frank Sullivan, a native of Wilmington, 
Del., but had been a resident of Norfolk for 25 years, residing at 2811 Argonne 
Avenue. Surviving here, besides her husband, are two sons, Frank S. Bell and 
Claude L. Bell, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 
o’clock at the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne Road. The 
Rev. S.E. Jones, of Fairmont Park Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.
