P. BELLINGHAM DIES SUDDENLY AT GASOLINE STATION William Patrick Bellingham, widely known as "Captain Billy," died of a heart attack yesterday afternoon at 1:05 o'clock at the Tidewater Service Station, Fifty-second Street and Colley Avenue, where he was employed. He was 57 years old. Captain Bellingham, the son of the late James H. and Mrs. Mary Hemmingway Bellingham, was a native of Portsmouth and a lifelong resident of this section. He resided at 817 West Fifty-second Street. Surviving him are two sisters, Mrs. F.M. Nelson and Mrs. Maggie A. Congrove, of Norfolk; four nieces, Mrs. W Roy Payne, of Norfolk; Mrs. H.B. Childress, of Richmond and Mrs. Louis Talley and Mrs. Wallace Norfleet, of Norfolk and one nephew, John B. Nelson of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, tomorrow at 12 o'clock noon. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ***************************************************************************** WILLIAM PATRICK BELLINGHAM.— Funeral services for William Patrick (Captain Billy) Bellingham, who died Thursday afternoon, were held at noon yesterday in the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, with the Rev. J. O. Schmidhauser, of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, officiating. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The pallbearers were Joseph Davila, Justin Keanh, John T. Bain, George Dailey, Wallace Norfleet, Eddie Fraim, Emerson Harden, George Reynolds and A. L. Redfern. The casket was covered with a pall of pink and white carnations and fern.
