NORFOLK - Miss Annie R. Belote, 80, of 937 Brandon Avenue, Apt. 3, a daughter of 
Owen M. and Mrs. Maude Edwards Belote, died in a hospital Thursday at 1:10 p.m.
She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk. She was a member of Freemason Street 
Baptist Church and Triangle Sunday School Class.
Until her retirement in 1955, she was associated with Sunlight Laundry 45 years.
She is survived by a sister, Miss Edith G. Belote of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Saturday at 
11 a.m. by the Rev. William L. Lumpkin of Freemason Street Baptist Church. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Endowment Fund of Freemason 
Street Baptist Church.
