RICHMOND — Edith G. Belote, 93, a native of Norfolk, died Nov. 23,1988, in her 
home.
Mrs. Belote retired from Seaboard Air Line Railroad after more than 40 years’ 
service. She was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church in Norfolk and was 
a member of the Triangle Class and the Women’s Missionary Society.
Survivors include several cousins.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Revs. William L. Lumpkin and Donald J. Dunlap. Cox Funeral Home, 
Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the church’s organ fund.
