Virginian-Pilot November 5, 1946
William Bolton Belote, aged two days, infant son of Bernard Bolton and Mrs. Jewel 
Russell Belote, Jr., of 721 Mozart Avenue, died at a local hospital yesterday 
morning at 1:45 o’clock. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his 
paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard B. Belote, Sr., of Norfolk, and his 
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Russell of Gastonia, N.C.
The body was taken from the Cox Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery, where funeral 
services were conducted at the grave yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock by the 
Rev. Fred A. Bobbitt, pastor of Park Avenue Baptist Church.
