Funeral services were conducted at 3 o'clock at the Sturtevant-Padgett Funeral Home, the Rev. E. Ernest Renn, pastor of Wright Memorial M.E. Church, was the officiating minister. During the services, "Jesus, Savior, Pilot Me" was sung by E. Robie Sturtevant, accompanied by Miss Mary Race at the piano. The casket was covered with a spray of lilies and there was a floral design from the Electrical Section, Drafting Room, Navy Yard. The pallbearers were A.H. Sterling, J.C Keigeben, J.B. Rollins, C.P. Josey, I. Mervis, A.F. Priestly and H. Perez. Additional Comments: Magnolia First pallbearer may be Sterling or Stalling (several blank spaces after the t.)
