Norfolk - John Bembry, 60, of 849 Goff street died recently.  A native of 
Edenton, NC, he was the husband of Mrs. Mable Bembry.  He was a member of 
International Longshoremen’s Association 1248.
 
Besides his wife,  he is survived by two sons, Calvin Bembry of Chesapeake and 
James Bembry of Norfolk;  a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Holiday of Brooklyn NY;  and 
three grandchildren.  A funeral service was held in Graves Funeral Chapel.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
