Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - October 10, 1990 
Paxton Mayo Bembry, of the 400 block of W. 35th St., died Oct. 7, 1990, in a 
hospital.
Mr. Bembry, a native of Norfolk, had retired from the Norfolk Sanitation 
Department after 26 years. He was the widower of Edna Bembry.
Survivors include two sons, Coulbert Richerson and Howard Copeland, both of 
Norfolk; four sisters, Sadie Holmon of Norfolk, Rosa Rose of Portsmouth, Hazel 
Bembry of Caret, Va., and Lula Johnson of Maryland; and a grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at Riddick Funeral Service by the 
Rev. H. Bernard Branch. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Viewing will be 
from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Friends may join the family at 
the residence.
