Frances T. Bendura, 89, died April 26, 1996, in her son's residence in 
Williamsburg.

Mrs. Bendura was a retired cafeteria manager for Norfolk City Public Schools at 
Coleman Place School. Born in Utica, N.Y., she was the widow of Frank J. Bendura. 
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons and their wives, Richard J. Bendura and his wife, 
Virginia, of Williamsburg, Robert F. Bendura and his wife, Shirley, of Sherburne, 
N.Y.; a brother, Joseph Stopera of New York Mills, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and 
ten great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday by Father Joseph Lehman in 
Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive 
Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the American 
Heart Association.
