Norfolk Journal and Guide, Dec 19,1959
Mrs. Annie Benjamin of 205-A Berkley avenue died Dec. 11 in a Petersburg 
hospital.  Funeral services were conducted Monday night, Dec. 14, by the Rev. E. 
L. Proctor at First Baptist Church, Money Point.  Burial was in Mt. Olive 
Cemetery, with Pretlow’s Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Benjamin, a native of Weldon, NC, had lived in Norfolk 12 years.  She was a 
member of First Baptist Church, Halifax, NC.

Surviving are two sons, Robert and Olanders Benjamin, and one daughter, Mrs. 
Viola Barksdale;  and one brother, Willey Alson, all of Norfolk.
