Norfolk - Mrs. Louise S. Bennett of 2730 Corprew Ave., died Tuesday in a 
hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Thomas Seward Sr. and Mrs. Rose 
Hix Seward and the wife of James Bennett.

She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Thomas Seward Jr. of 
New York City and Willie Seward of Norfolk;  and four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy 
Smith of Norfolk, Mrs. Elsie Marks of Portsmouth, Mrs. Mattie Mothershed of 
Chicago and Mrs. Valma Boga of Okinawa.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel 
by the Rev. William O. DeLoatch.  Bural will be in Calvary Cemetery.  The 
family will assemble at 2928 Woodland Ave.
