Norfolk - Mrs. Magliner Benson of 431 West 30th street died recently in a 
hospital.  A native of Swan Quarter, NC, she was the wife of Nelson Benson Sr., 
and a daughter of the late Kelly and Mrs. Almita Credle.

She was a member of the Jubilee Gospel Choir and Missionary Society of Antioch 
Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, surviving are a son, Nelson Benson Jr.;  and a daughter, 
Mrs. Henrietta Ferebee, both of Norfolk;  three sisters, Mrs. Emily Green and 
Mrs. Lucy Green of Swan Quarter, and Miss Della Credle of Norfolk;  six 
grandchildren;  and three great- grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Jan. 8 at Antioch Baptist Church by the Rev. I. J. 
Williams.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
