Norfolk Virginian December 5, 1895

Mrs. Priscilla Bensten, relict of the late Benj. F. Bensten, died at her home, 
on James Street, Tuesday night, aged 75 years.

Mrs. Priscilla Benson, aged 75 years, died Tuesday night at 11 o'clock, at her 
home, No. 20 James Street.  The funeral will be from Freemason Street Baptist 
Church and conducted by Rev. M.B. Wharton, D.D. The hour, however, will not be 
fixed until the arrival of her son.  The remains will be interred in Elmwood 
Cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Priscilla  Bensten took place from the Freemason Street 
Baptist Church at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was conducted by the pastor, 
Rev. Dr. M.B. Wharton.  The interment was in Elmwood.
