Virginian-Pilot July 18, 1948
Frank Worthington Berkeley, 40, husband of Alice Shipley Berkeley and son of Mrs. 
Ethel White Garrett and the late David A. Berkeley, died at his residence, 126 
Sterling Street, yesterday at 2:30 a.m. In addition to wife and mother, he is 
survived by a daughter, Miss Dorothy Berkeley, of Norfolk, and a sister, Mrs. M. 
S. Rucker, of Franklin Tenn.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow at 
3 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
