Virginian-Pilot June 11, 1945
Mrs. Mary Ellen Wicks Berkley – Funeral services for Mrs. Berkley, widow of 
Lycurgus Berkley, who died Saturday night, will be held at the residence, 7451 
North Shore Road, this afternoon at 4 o’clock, with the Rev. W. C. Freeman, pastor 
of Memorial Methodist Church, and the Rev. George P. Gunn, rector of the Church of 
the Good Shepherd, Meadowbrook, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
