NORFOLK - Mrs. Molly Berman, 72, wife of Phillip Berman and daughter of Moses 
and Mrs. Sarah Shipowitz, a native of Russia and a resident of Norfolk for 50 
years, residing at 4604 Colonial Ave., died Friday at 4:30 p.m. at a Norfolk 
hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leonard Zittrain, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Harvey 
Pilzer of Portsmouth, VA; one son, William J. Berman of Norfolk; five 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Berman was a member of B'Nai Israel Congregation.
Funeral services will be conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 
Sunday at 2 p.m. by Rabbi Joseph Schecter and Rabbi Malcolm Stern. Burial will 
be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
