Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 6, 1922

Jeremiah Bernard. 76 years old, died yesterday morning at his home, 814 Cook 
Avenue. Mr. Bernard was born in Italy, but had lived in Norfolk for many years. 
He is survived by three daughters, Agnes, Catherine and Mary Bernard and four 
sons, Michael, John, Rocco and Joseph Bernard.  The funeral will take place at 
10 o'clock tomorrow morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. P.P. Brennan 
will conduct the services. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

JEREMIAH BERNARD - The funeral of Jeremiah Bernard took place yesterday morning 
at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The services were conducted by Rev. P. P. 
Brennan. The choir of St Mary's Academy sang. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The pallbearers were John Hoy, F. W. Lascara, A. J. Penello, A. Williams and L. 
Gallo.
