The Virginian-Pilot, Tuesday, February 2, 1965

NORFOLK - Miss Jennie Bernard, 35, of 1512 Corprew Ave. died Monday in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Samuel and Mrs. Annie Lee Bernard.

Besides her parents, surviving are two brothers, Samuel Bernard and Elijah Bernard 
of Norfolk; two sisters, Miss India Bernard and Mrs. Mary Smallwood of New York.

The body is at Graves Funeral Home. The family is at 2926 Bickle St.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Miss Jennie Bernard will be held Sunday at 3:30 
p.m. in graves Funeral Home by the Rev. Rufus Jackson. Burial will be in Calvary 
Cemetery. The family will be at 2926 Bickle St.
