Norfolk Landmark May 19, 1886
Mr. Nathan W. Berry, an aged and well-known citizen, died at the residence of his 
granddaughter, Mrs. Henry Bohn, No. 293 Church street, yesterday of congestion of 
the lungs. Mr. Berry served throughout the late war as a private of Company A, 
Thirteenth Virginia Cavalry, Army of Northern Virginia. His funeral will take 
place this afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, from 293 Church street, at which time and 
place friends and acquaintances are invited to attend.

Additional Comments:
There is a discrepancy between the date of death calculated from his obituary 
(18th) and that given in the database (19th).
