Virginian Pilot November 26, 1909

Mrs. Martha J. Williams (Berry), 63 years old, died at her home in Franklyn 
avenue, South Norfolk, yesterday morning about ten o'clock after an illness of 
several years.
She was a native of North Carolina and had been living here about five years.
She is survived by three children, R.W., L.W. and Milton Berry and two brothers, 
Robert and Patrick H. Williams.
It will be recalled that the wife of one of her sons, L.W. Berry, died the first 
of the week of pellagra.
The funeral will be conducted from the family residence this afternoon at 3 
o'clock and the interment will be in Magnolia cemetery.
