She was the wife of L.W. Berry and daughter of the late John and Mrs. Sarah Ming Sylvester, a native of Norfolk County and a lifelong resident of this section. She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clifton E. Pickins and Mrs. William Brinkley; and two sons, Sylvan A. and Melvin S. Berry, all of Norfolk; and one brother, John Sylvester, of Northwest, Va. The body was removed to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox and Brother, 631 Westover Avenue, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
