Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 6, 1931

Mrs. Nannie Gray Berry, aged 65 years, wife of W.F. Berry and daughter of the 
late Emmett O. and Martha Duck Gray, died at 8:45 o'clock yesterday morning at 
the residence, 726 Delaware Avenue, Colonial Place. She was a native and 
lifelong resident of Norfolk.  Besides her husband, she is survived by two 
brothers, Emmett and J.G. Gray, of Norfolk and a number of nieces and nephews.  
Mrs. Berry was a member of Park Place Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be 
held at the above residence tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with the Rev. 
Henry W. Tiffany, D.D., pastor of Park Place Baptist Church, and Rev. J.T. 
Riddick, D.D., pastor of the Baptist Tabernacle, officiating.  Interment will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
