Virginian Pilot December 20, 1977

George Ernest Berry, 90, of 1440 Ashland Circle, retired accountant with Loew's 
(Theater) Co., Inc., New York, where he worked 35 years, died Monday in a 
hospital.
A native of Delmar, Del., he lived in this area for 40 years. He was the husband 
of the late Mrs. Hannah More Eure Berry.
He was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Florence Spencer of Chesapeake; and three 
nephews, Cecil B. Riddick of Chesapeake, Joseph W. Riddick of Norfolk and 
Franklin Lee Hickman of New Church, Va.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by Dr. William L. 
Lumpkin. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments has charge.
The family will be at 1035 Norview Ave.
