Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, February 25, 2000 
Bernard H. Beslow Jr. of the 3200 block of Argonne Ave. died Feb. 22, 2000, at
his residence.

Mr. Beslow was born in Norfolk and was a custodian for Old Dominion University
and Norfolk State University.

He is survived by his wife, Maggie Beslow; a daughter, Anita A. Smith; a son,
Bernard Beslow III; five sisters, Jean Beslow, Josephine Harmon, Vivian Benns,
Shirley Walker and Mary Forbes; three brothers, Garland, Vernon and Clifton
Beslow; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at noon Monday at Graves Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Rufus
Jackson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the family at the
residence.
