George Bess - Funeral services for Mr. Bess, 132 Alexander street, who died on 
June 7, were held on June 10 from Hale’s Chapel with the Rev. E. W. Williams 
officiating. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Bess, one son, three sisters, 
and one brother. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
