Mrs. Mattie Bestpitch, widow of Chas. Bestpitch, died at 4 a.m. today in her 
52nd year. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Caroline Dudley and a brother, 
C.C. Dudley, both of Portsmouth. The funeral occurs at Oliver’s Funeral 
Apartments at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow. Interment in Elmwood.
