Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 29, 1947

Daniel A. Betor, 25, husband of Mrs. Dorothy Poplin Betor and son of Hikle and 
Mrs. Victoria Lutfy Betor, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 2:15 p.m. He 
was a native of New York and resided at 3111 Tait Terrace at the time of his 
death. Besides his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Poplin Betor, he is survived by one son, 
Daniel A. Betor, Jr.; a daughter, Dianne Betor; his parents, Hikle and Mrs. 
Victoria Lutfy Betor; one sister, Mrs. Hazel King and a brother, Edward Betor, 
all of Norfolk. Mr. Betor was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. The body 
was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments pending arrangements.

Daniel A. Betor — The body of Mr. Betor, who died Sunday afternoon at a Norfolk 
hospital, will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church for services Wednesday at 10 a. m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight 
at 7:30 o'clock.
