Virginian Pilot Tuesday May 3, 1910  

Mrs. Viola Bevan, wife of John Bevan and daughter of the late Captain John 
Fitzgerald and Mrs. Susan Fitzgerald, died Sunday evening at 10:40 o'clock at 
the residence of her mother 503 Chestnut street, after a brief illness.
The deceased was removed to the Lawford Hospital Sunday for treatment, but her 
condition was beyond medical skill.  The deceased was a native of Pocomoke City, 
Md., but had been living here several years, where she was married to Mr. Bevan 
about a year ago.
She was in the 20th year of her age, was well known and her untimely death is 
much regretted by her many friends.
The funeral will be conducted from the residence this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, 
with Rev. E.W. Cowling officiating and the interment will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
