Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday December 15, 1946
William T. Bew, 47, husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Diggs Bew and son of the late 
William T. and Mrs. Alice Bullock Bew, died yesterday at 10:40 a.m. at a 
local hospital.  Mr. Bew, assistant treasurer of the Columbian Peanut 
Company, was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 1311 
Mallory Court at the time of his death.  He is survived only by his wife, 
Mrs. Elizabeth Diggs Bew.  Funeral services will be held at the chapel of 
the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Monday at 12 o'clock noon, with the Rev. 
C.M. Gordon, D.D., pastor of the First Christian Church (Disciples), and the 
Rev. Taylor Willis, D.D., rector of Christ and St. Luke's Church, 
officiating.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
