Ledger-Dispatch February 20, 1945
BIBB, MYRTIE CARRIE SMITH – At the residence of her son, Edwin E. Bibb, 506 Talbot 
Hall Road, Monday night, February 19, 1945, at 8:20 o’clock, MRS. MYRTIE CARRIE 
SMITH BIBB, widow of Edwin T. Bibb and a daughter of the late John H. and Sarah 
Matthews Smith, aged 77 years. The remains will be taken from the Cox Funeral Home 
to the First Baptist Church, where funeral services will be conducted WEDNESDAY 
AFTERNOON at 3 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, 
Elmwood Cemetery.
